The new airport in St. Maarten is making trvael to Saba & Statia not only easier, but more affordable than ever. The expansion of the facility has provided more airline from more cities than in the past. No longer an American Airlines exclusive destination, you can now get to St. Maarten with direct flights on Delta (Atlanta), United (Chicago), Continental (Newark), USAir (via Philly and Charlotte), American Airlines (JFK and Miami). The new United schedule as of Nov '07 provides a flight out of Washington Dulles after 8 a.m. giving a new options for flights from the heartland to connect on United in one day! As we all know, the airline market now in the U.S. is like it's never been. One day the prices are great; the next you can't believe how high. Sometimes it's better to book well in advance; sometimes best at the "last minute". I work with several bulk suppliers. Often times I know in advance of sales, specials, or alternative scheduling that can save you hundreds of dollars--more money for diving! Often, it's a bit tough to get decent quotes for bookings 4+ months in advance. But this shouldn't be discouraging. Call me; fares change hourly but below are some rates I have recently booked. I assure you I will work diligently to find you the best quote possible and honestly advise you on when to purchase.
